Consumers carry their mobile phones with them everywhere, and while most phone can record video, the quality is too poor to be usable. MotionDSP's Ikena service enables mobile phones to become viable personal video cameras.
MotionDSP’s core video enhancement technology is deployed in three products: Ikena Workstation, Ikena Linux, and Ikena Web.
- Ikena Workstation is a Windows-based application for video forensics and enhancement which runs on individual desktops or laptops. It is ideal for single-user, field use.
- Ikena Linux is a distributed, scalable, Linux-based software solution for enterprise-scale video enhancement in the Government market. It is ideal for centralized video libraries, where the processing requirements are hundreds or thousands of hours of video. Ikena Linux wraps the core enhancement engine of Ikena Workstation in a load-balanced, distributed software solution that can be deployed on server clusters from three machines to hundreds of machines.
- Ikena Web is an internet video enhancement service for internet video sites and mobile carriers. A hosted solution, Ikena Web accepts files from customer websites, enhances them, transcodes them, and sends them back to the customer site.
